CommackRestaurants.com is maintained by a group of people who live and work in Commack and the surrounding area and who wish to make it easier for locals and visitors to find information on restaurants in the community. The site was originally created because we felt that existing online restaurant guides cater to larger cities and often neglect to feature local favorites.

The purpose of CommackRestaurants.com is two-fold. First, we provide a fully optimized, comprehensive online listing of restaurants in the area, including coupons, reviews, recipes, articles, and more. Second, we deliver this constantly-evolving set of information directly to residents and employees of Commack in the form of bi-weekly email newsletters. By bridging the gap between local restaurant owners and area residents and office workers, we hope to satisfy the needs of Long Islanders looking to answer the age old question, "What's for dinner?" or lunch, or dessert, or even happy hour, for that matter, while at the same time increasing business for Commack restaurants.
